Russ is one of my favorite people. I've known him 20 years and he's never told me what to do. I used to have parties that rattled the dishes off his shelf, he never complained. We hang christmas lights each year, and one year he jumps 8 feet across two buildings - a 40+ foot drop - I say Russ aren't you scared?! He say's "I'm Russ Tamblyn", he's not bragging, he's not full of himself, he knows who he is. I almost thought about having a Russ Tamblyn Story Blog because every time I see him he as a new story. Tonight he was telling me about getting drunk with John Wayne and Wayne telling him about his life's love Marlina Detrich. That was a story in itself, but I don't know that it belongs in public domain. He gave me a wanted poster of him they used in a western, he's going back to some western convention to sell autographs in a few weeks. One of the pictures he had was of him driving a stage coach. He said he was flying and they hit a rock and it was quite a tumble. He's the only guy I know whose driven a stage coach. The picture above is Russ with my mom driving an 80K Cadilac that they gave Amber for taking a picture with the car.

Kell's out of town. This presents logistical problems...like remembering to put food in Josie's bowl and cleaning the tar off of the bottom of the coffee pot I forgot to turn off. The upside is donuts for dinner, Taco Bell for breakfast, not shaving, not cleaning up and hanging with my buds.

Went to Joe's Friday morning with Mary. John Millea came by Friday night and we stayed up till 1 or 2 drinking beer and catching up. Hit Mc Donalds and it was F cubed (Fish Fillet Friday). Sunday morning Mary came by for coffee and Greg stopped in. Sunday night my old buddy Robert Stones came by, we hadn't seen each other since my wedding 9 years ago. He's now divorced from PJ (Julie) but she did call around 1 am. We went to Tommy's and met his buddy Bobbie and his girl friend Cillia. She was very cool, from Iceland and he's fascinating. He's making a movie about light farts and we discussed the possibilities. Today, Robert left early and I nursed my hang over. Dawn picked up Josie so I got to watch Beavis And Butt Head, the Mike Judge collection, volume 1 and work on a new song. Justin stopped by this afternoon and it was a good, fun relaxing time.

I finally heard from Kelly. She's up at Dad's cabin in north WI and her leg has been hurting since her flight. When I talked to her last night she was finding out where the Urgent Care facility was. Felt like forever waiting for her to call, but she finally did and she sounded happy and like her leg was a little better. Whew...I hope.
