Finished Last Lovers today. My dad gave me a copy of his to read because he liked it so much. I really thought it was a beautiful story. I went to buy it for a friend of mine and saw some of the reviews. One said 'disgusting' and another 'Wharton's worst' so it must be a really bad book that my dad and I liked a lot.

Mary stopped by this morning and made her self right at home. She was sitting like an astronaught in my recliner - I don't recall anybody else using the chair that way. It was nice to see her look so comfortable and relaxed. So, I thought, I think Josie saw it differently.

Josie is rounding up the possie for the big Memorial Day Brew Ha. The Dog Park is a fun place cause you can have dirt on your tongue and pee and poop anywhere you like with all your friends. The word going around the park is: Humans have a song by a fella named Nugent that goes "Dog Dog, Doggy Dog" for 5 minutes!

Today is my best friends birthday. I called his mom, I'm always a little affraid to but it always feels good after we talk. When she heard it was me, her voice picked up and that felt real good. She told me about Thomas (graduating to 1st grade) and Mariah (graduating to 2nd grade). Deloris asked Mariah if she wanted to say hi, and she was stuck. I told her I have a dog named Josie. Deloris got back on and told me she was going to Virginia to visit her niece and nephew. We laughed a lot and talked about her daughter Joi, but Jody didn't come up.
